Aluminum Sand CastingSand Casting
Commonly poured metals: Gray and Ductile Iron, Aluminum, Stainless, Bronze, Brass, Copper and more.
We offer short run & long run quantities, Certificates of compliance, Chemical/physical analysis, Heat treating, X-ray and dye penitrant standards for all commercial and military applications.
Complete pattern shop in use for wood and metal patterns. Gray Iron, Ductile Iron and Aluminum castings up to 1000 lbs. Tolerances ± .030 or better. ISO certified. Rapid prototyping. Finishing, plating and painting available.

PAluminum Permanent Mold Castingermanent Mold
Permanent Mold Casting is similar to sand casting utilizing aluminum or steel match plates.
Typical tolerances range from ±0.002 in. to ±0.015. The surface finish has a higher surface finish than that of sand casting, ranging from 125 to 300 microinches.
Finishing, plating and painting available.

Zinc / Zamak Die CastingDie Cast
A casting process where metal is injected into a mold under high pressure. Die Casting gives excellent dimensional accuracy typically 0.1 mm for the first 2.5 cm (0.005 in. for the first inch) and 0.02 mm for each additional centimeter (0.002 in. for each additional inch). Thinner walls can be cast as compared to sand and permanent mold casting (approximately 0.75 mm (0.030 in.). Inserts can be cast-in (such as threaded inserts, heating elements, and high strength bearing surfaces). Reduces or eliminates secondary machining operations. Rapid production rates are standard. Casting tensile strength as high as 415 MPa (60 ksi). Metals commonly cast: Aluminum, Zinc, Zamac (Zinc, Aluminum, Magnesium, and Copper). Finishing, plating and painting available. ISO Certified. Rapid prototyping available.

Stainless Steel Investment CastingInvestment Castings
Investment Casting utilizes either a shell mold or a solid mold to render a tightly toleranced casting. If you are looking for your castings to be produced in the USA by a qualified New England Foundry, you have come to the right place! Investment castings can hold tolerances ± .010 or better. Castings sizes range from smaller than a quarter of an inch up to the size of a loaf of bread. We can quote either solid mold or shell mold investment castings. We pour a wide variety of metals including but not limited to: Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Silver. Often times, cost reduction can be realized through casting vs. machining parts depending on the number and nature of the part. Machined-like net shapes can often be achieved at a greater value. ISO Certified. Rapid Prototyping available. Finishing, plating and painting available.

Sintered Metal Injection MoldingMIM
MIM (Metal Injection Molding) excels at producing small, complex components that require thin, uniform cross sections (up to .250 inch). The process consists of mixing fine metal powders with thermoplastic binders to form a feedstock which is injection molded into a closed mold. After ejection from the mold, the thermoplastic " binders" are chemically or thermally removed from the part so that the part can be sintered to high density. During the sintering process, the individual particles metallurgically bond together as material diffusion occurs to remove most of the porosity left by the removal of the binder. The economics of the MIM process favors higher annual part volumes. Tolerances are typically +/- 0.5, down to +/- 0.001 inch for very small dimensions. The density of the part is then > 98%, taking porosity out of the equation and giving infinite detail opportunities. Finishing, plating and painting available.
